A Day in the Cotswalds
posted by Tim Nafziger on 10/12/09 at 01:20 PMIt's hard to believe, I've been in England for almost a month now. Christian Peacemaker Teams training is going full swing and its hard to think about blogging.
But just before things started up, I had a chance to head out into the countryside for a night and a day with Justin Alexander and Jenny Eliot, two good friends who live in London. We visited Justin's parents near Stow-on-the-Wold, a classic English village nested in the Cotswalds, an area of particularly picturesque hills in central England. It was a wonderful day spent rambling through pastures with Justin's hounds, picking raspberries, wandering through a medieval fair and looking at flowers as the sun set.
Needless to say, I took lots and lots of photos. Here are a few of my favorite ordered chronologically from the beginning of the day to the end. As always, click for a bigger view and a description:
