GOSHEN, Ind., and NORTH NEWTON, Kan.—Gary Chupp is returning to his hometown to be Goshen College’s new men’s basketball coach. Meanwhile, Mark Yoder will return to head up the men’s basketball program at Bethel College.
Goshen athletic director Ken Pletcher announced May 30 that Chupp, the men’s basketball coach of Bethel, was selected following a national search to replace Stan Daugherty, who resigned earlier in May.
Bethel’s athletic director Diane Flickner announced Yoder’s appointment June 5. Yoder coached at Bethel from 1993 to 1998. Chupp became Bethel’s coach in 1999.
