Ad for anti-Semitic organization unchristian
by Bonnie Bergey, Souderton, Pa.
Last evening I noticed an ad placed in the June 19 issue (page 27) by Good Information Advocates. A similar ad appeared in the classified section of Mennonite Weekly Review (June 18, page 22). I find it disturbing that this group is allowed again to place an ad about an alternate meeting they are hosting concurrent with our San José Assembly. I say “again” because this happened in 2005 in relation to the Charlotte Assembly.
This group is anti-Semitic, and some of the meeting’s participants have associated with racist organizations. It is unchristian, an act of pandering to racists and anti-Semites, to allow these people to promote their events in our church periodicals.
