by Goshen CollegePrint Article Email to a Friend

During a Nov. 2 lament vigil, Goshen (Ind.) College professor emeritus of religion J.R. Burkholder reads a list of names of American soldiers and Iraqi civilians who lost their lives in October due to the Iraq War. The Goshen College Pax Club organized the vigil, held outside Rep. Mark Souder’s Goshen office. A local mother of a soldier who died spoke, people sang a song of mourning, and students, faculty and community members offered prayers.—Goshen College
