SCC reduces conference minister position
by South Central ConferencePrint Article Email to a Friend
HESSTON, Kan.—With declining income from South Central Conference congregations as well as the reduced number of churches served by its conference minister, SCC’s executive committee decided to change the position of conference minister from full-time to half-time or less. Changes in its agreement with Western District Conference meant SCC’s conference minister is no longer serving WDC churches in Oklahoma.
Based on the executive committee’s decision, conference minister Robert Nolt resigned in December. Conrado Hinojosa, retired associate conference minister, is serving as interim conference minister.—South Central Conference
