Bluffton hosts intercollegiate peace group

BLUFFTON, Ohio—Sixty students attended the annual gathering of Intercollegiate Peace Fellowship (ICPF) Feb. 23-25 at Bluffton University.
Participants came from Bluffton, Bethel College in North Newton, Kan., Earlham College in Richmond, Ind., Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Va., and Goshen (Ind.) College.
ICPF gathers students and faculty from Mennonite, Brethren and Quaker colleges. This year’s theme was “Coming Together as Peacemakers.”
Cynthia Lapp, pastor of Hyattsville (Md.) Mennonite Church, spoke on meditation and body prayer. Students led workshops on how they can be active peacemakers and gave presentations on issues on their campuses.—Bluffton University
