Likes the Epiphany tradition
by Melodie M. Davis, Harrisonburg, Va.I enjoyed several of the articles on different family customs for Advent/Epiphany/Christmas (“New Ways to Celebrate Christmas,” Dec. 18, 2007). On Jan. 5, we hosted an Epiphany dinner in our home. Our church, rather than doing Christmas banquets or anything during the busy month of December, has people sign up for small dinners hosted in homes by anyone who wants to host—or be a guest. Everyone brings a dish, so the cooking is easy. We like this Epiphany tradition.
