Picking a political party

When I decided which party to join, I asked myself these questions: Which party better represents the issues I care about, such as helping the poor, the powerless and the disenfranchised? Which party will be more willing to negotiate with enemies and not jump into an unneeded war? Which party follows more closely what I interpret as Jesus’ teachings? I hope that all Mennonites will ask themselves these questions and follow their hearts while being respectful of those who end up on the other side of the fence.
