Disappointed by leaders
by Marlin and Rose Zook, Dalton, OhioIt is with sadness that we write this letter. We understand that a minister from the Unitarian Universalist group was used as a leader in the worship music retreat at Laurelville (Pa.) Mennonite Church Center that took place in January. We are not sure how this happened, but we feel it was wrong to use such a person based on what this group believes and practices. We feel this is a violation of our trust in the judgment of our church leadership. We wanted you to hear our concern as lay members of the Mennonite church.
