MENNONITES IN THE NEWS: Western Mennonite School sells $1 million house

As a Christian institution, the word faith often comes up at Western Mennonite School. And since June, the faith of many at the school had been tested.
Last week, however, the school finally sold a nearly $1 million home built to help raise money for a new academic center on campus, ending an 11-month search for a buyer.
"It was hard to wait but you've got to believe God's hand was in it," said Western Mennonite Superintendent Darrel White. "But as humans, it was hard to wait. It helps build your faith."
