Pray for President Obama
by Willard A. Epp, Newton, Kan.
A lady in the crowd talking to a reporter quoted the whole Bible verse at the presidential inauguration saying, "This is the day the Lord hath made, let us rejoice in it and be glad." She had it right. President Obama will have it right, too, when he has a Damascus Road experience like the leader Saul of Tarsus had, recorded in Acts 9. Then he will have a superior Savior instead of also catering to others who claim it. Indeed, let's pray that first for ourselves and then for his welfare. Some of us did that for President Bush when asked for it
(1 Timothy 2:1,2).
