A seventh membership change

Regarding the article "Hyattsville Church Denied ACC Membership" (January): I just wanted to highlight at least one other transfer beyond the six congregations listed in the article. Emmanuel Mennonite Church, Reinholds, Pa., transferred its membership from Eastern District Conference to Atlantic Coast Conference in April 2006. It was a significant loss for EDC but a cordial transfer, knowing it was the preference of Emmanuel membership to change its conference affiliation. EDC leaders conveyed blessing on the transfer taking place.
